The PFB Performance Team
Strength & conditioning and rehab specialists in professional basketball.
PFB Performance is written by a team of strength and conditioning coaches and rehab professionals who work, or have worked, in professional basketball, including the EuroLeague. We train players every week, design return-to-play processes with medical staff, and teach other coaches.
Articles are signed by the team. Each one is built on peer-reviewed research, cited at the end with links to PubMed, and goes through an editorial and scientific review before it is published. We show the date of the last review at the top of every article and update the text when the evidence changes.
Experience
- Strength and conditioning work in the EuroLeague and in professional basketball
- Physical preparation and return-to-play of professional players
Areas
Strength & power · Injury, rehab & return to play · Load monitoring · Conditioning · Youth athletes
How we write and review
- Research. We start from systematic reviews, consensus statements and trials, and check every reference in PubMed.
- Practice. We add what we do with our own players, and say clearly when that is experience rather than evidence.
- Review. A second member of the team reviews the article for accuracy and clarity before it is published, and again when the evidence changes. The review date is shown on every article.
Experts who sign individual articles in the future will have their own profile here, with their permission.
